EFHN acknowledges that empowering women in our society is an ongoing and collective effort, demanding commitment and dedication from all members of our community. While the specific actions and initiatives may vary according to cultural and societal contexts, our overarching objective remains the creation of a more inclusive and equitable society where women can engage fully and contribute to their maximum potential.

Throughout the year, EFHN organizes a diverse array of events that honor our culture, sports, education, and engagement within the wider Australian community. Engaging in these activities within a nurturing setting and exchanging experiences can greatly contribute to your seamless integration into your new life here.
We also have simpler events most Saturdays and you are welcome to come along and ask questions or participate.
Sport
Engaging in sports offers numerous advantages for both the youth and the community. It serves as a unifying force, fostering connections not only within our own ranks but also with other segments of our local population. Moreover, it instills a sense of self-assurance in our children, aligning with the widespread affinity for sports that is cherished throughout Australia.
EFHN have a successful Soccer competition and we are happy to help arrange other sport events.
Employment
EFHN employs multiple strategies to motivate young individuals in their pursuit of employment opportunities. Here are several valuable suggestions:
1. Engage in conversations about their professional aspirations and long-term ambitions.
2. Explore their areas of interest to collaboratively generate pathways for career advancement.
3. Leverage the assistance provided by community-centric organizations overseeing federal and state initiatives designed to facilitate youth entry into the workforce and sustained employment.
Connect with other members of EFHN who already have jobs and ‘get your foot in the door’.
